Chevrolet builds the Z71 with all-wheel drive and nothing else, routing torque through its Advanced Twin-Clutch system. The LT, RS and High Country start front-drive, with AWD on the options sheet. EPA-estimated figures land at 20/26 mpg city/highway in front-drive form and 20/24 with AWD.

Traverse Towing & Cargo

A 17.7-inch diagonal display with Google built-in is standard on every 2027 Traverse, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Google Maps and apps from Google Play work through the screen, and Google built-in compatibility requires a select service plan.

New for 2027, an interior camera comes standard on RS and High Country and is available on the rest of the lineup. Tap Cabin Glance and both back rows appear on the center screen, so nobody has to twist around in the driver’s seat on I-84.

The Z71 rides a little taller at 70.6 inches on its off-road suspension, with a skid plate and 18-inch machined-face wheels on all-terrain tires.

Chevrolet reworked the High Country for 2027: a redesigned badge marks the front doors and the liftgate, the grille and headlamps pick up a Tritan Satin finish, and the wheels move to 22-inch machined-face pieces in high-gloss black. The RS keeps its blacked-out treatment for a darker take on the same body.
